In my search for bargain festival experiences with, at least a half decent line-up, one event has easily topped the 2011 list. Leefest, is a not-for-profit festival situated down in deepest darkest Kent (Bromley to be precise) and for 55 quid the line up is bloody fantastic. Dj Fresh for all you radio one monkeys and for the rest of us Dutch Uncles, Little Comets, Fenech Soler, Young Knives, David’s Lyre and King Charles will all be making an appearance. (Alongside a whole smorgasbord of other quality acts)
Essentially it’s going to be one long weekend of sun (touch wood), fun and the ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to meet me (Percy) . So come the 12th of August I expect to see you all down there camping in a muddy field alongside yours truly… Sweeet!
