Mafia lights are one of the most versatile groups we’ve come along in a long time. Probably since we started the blog. After dropping the weird 8-bit instrumental ‘Insect Is Best’, one of our favorite songs of October, they’ve seemingly changed tack once more to produce a song that puts them alongside dream-poppers like Youth Lagoon and High Highs. If this is the first time you’ve heard them you’d be wise to have a rifle through their back-catalogue to see what i mean. That said we’re really digging this new vibe so, if like us you like what you hear, head on down to Binnacle this weekend to hear them, and just about every other talented upstart in London, play.
