Verda Hugo is the latest single by Sheffield based band Mad Colours. An eclectic blend of blasting guitars, erratic vocal lines and sudden bursts of lush harmony its a brain-warping 2:30 minutes of noise. Released as a white vinyl 7″ through singles label “Too Pure” its a brilliantly insane song that sounds like it would explode in a live situation. Upbeat guitar bands are a rare breed these days and Mad Colours are certainly one well worth preserving.
