Lonesound is the nom de plume of East London based songwriter James Ewers. ‘The Great Outdoors’ is the first we’ve heard of him but we’re really quite impressed. The video also reminds us a lot of some of Clock Opera’s videos which we’ve always loved. So full marks for all that. It’s slow burning and vaguely acoustic sounding, think Tom Williams & The Boat without the Americana influences, and you’re somewhere close. Well worth a play.
