Gloomy London based rockers Torches are back with this absolutely ripping track. Featuring as the other side to their single ‘Blue Sky & Ivory’ it’s got a monstrous chorus that’s pretty much begging to be sung in festival moshpits come summer 2013. It’s also sure to appeal to film-buffs/the pretentious post-teeners with it’s witty little hook ‘It’s the sound of a silent film that you love ending’. Get it? It’s because silent films don’t make any sound. How fucking deep does that sound. I’m going to try and drop that into conversation some time and hope my friends don’t beat me too hard…

Despite the ever so slightly pretentious arrow in their quiver we’ve been consistently impressed with the guy’s output over the last year or so and can’t wait to get a full Lp’s worth in our ears.
