Cowboy, from Lemington Spa, aren’t your usual new British band. More interested in Beeches than beaches they’ve skipped the scuzzy garage-band aesthetic for a clean, acoustic and wholesome vibe. ‘Beech’, their most recent and least played song, is probably their best. Less interested in a Mumford & Sons blow-out than ‘In Time’ or ‘Hacienda’ it’s a very promising start by the band.
