The 15th of November is a date for the diary. This is because Indiana’s best band, Triptides, are dropping their Lp and its rad. Properly rad. Their Pr team seem to think they sound like Swim Deep. Which is sort of true. But massively undersells the dudes. While Swim Deep make summery surf rock, Triptides make Autumnal surf-rock. The key difference, and really the only one you need to know, is that Triptides make the kind of songs that won’t make you seem like some sort of hipster beach-bum throwback when you show them to your friends. Graveyard is one of the best cuts.
