Depending on who you’ve been talking too this lot are either the saviors of guitar music or the next Vaccines. So far the industry hype’s been based around a few, admittedly heroic, live shows and one or two scuzzy recordings.
Best of Friends, a rollicking garage baked masterclass in catchy-as-fuck scuzz, is their first proper single and in true buzz-band form pulls no punches. That said it’s hard to talk about them in the Messianic terms that NME have been without sounding like a bit of a twat.
Mafia light’s Joel put it best: “damn the chorus rules”… Hard to argue with that.
