Only Real – Class of “13 Spotlight

London’s number one fan of Bailey’s (and best buddy of Childhood’s Leo Dobson) is also famous for other things. Niall Galvin, aka Only Real, has got quite a significant little internet following going, all driven by his smoothly woozy slacker anthems. He’s been picking up copious amounts of plays on soundcloud but hasn’t broken in the same way his Lynch loving bosom-mates did with Blue Velvet. Probably because he’s only just started playing live shows which, considering that he’s been dropping tunes for at least a year now, probably means he’s either cripplingly shy or has been practicing a lot and waiting till he has a decent set.

Either way Niall looks set to be one of the defining talents of 2013 with his reassuringly original blend of cough-syrup softened guitars and guttural white-boy rap vibes.

Follow if :  Endless updates on the Bailey’s situation and some pretty decent tunes appeal.

Ignore if: The phrase ‘Repping Real’ doesn’t appeal. He says that a lot.

  1. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game
