With all the love we’ve been lathering on slacker punk’s most recent revival (think FIDLAR etc) it would be wrong for us to ignore the new material the grand daddy of the new crew -Wavves’ Nathan Williams- has been dropping. He’s got a new album, Afraid of Heights, coming out in March and Demon to Lean On is the latest cut. Its taking things in a slight college-rock direction (of the sort Somebody Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin used to peddle) and is sounding pretty fresh. As an added bonus they’re taken FIDLAR and Cheatahs -who you can check out below- out on tour with them.
