Who: Visuals

Where: Brooklyn

Why We Care: When Jamie, the editor of This Is Fake DIY’s superb ‘Neu’ section, recommends something we tend to pay attention. ‘Visuals’, a Brooklynite duo he unearthed last week, are yet another reason we’ll be continuing that trend. Specialising in quirky post-punk that squirms and clatters about like particularly excitable Vacationer tunes they’ve only dropped two songs but both, with special emphasis on ‘Goodbye’, are great. Tropical, lush and perfectly proportioned this is pop-music at the top of its class.
