Brighton is, once more, producing bands of note. Traams and Kins both call the coastal enclave home and Bayy, who share members with The Magic Gang and YRRS, are locals. Their new song Dreams, which was sent our way a few hours back, is a perfectly melodic slice of lugubrious guitar-pop that, though understated, can’t be considered lazy. At least not in a any sort of B-town slacker way. They don’t use reverb to drown out their dischord and, as far as the grainy picture above shows, they’re not hiding beneath snap-backs and coats of viscous ’90’s post Nirvana’ grunge bullshit. Nice.
