Canuck wonderkid Travis Bretzer is back with a new slice of gangly guitar-led pop. Featuring his trademark blend of drawled vocals, serrated chords and langourous riffs its one of the best things we’ve heard all summer. The vocals are apathetic, his dance-moves are on point and the video, to use the term very loosely, is an endearingly weird as nearly everything else he’s ever done. He’s the logical heir to Mac DeMarco’s cardboard crown and, with songs this good slipping out his bequiffed head every few months, it might not be too long before he steps out of obscurity and into the hearts of everyone, everywhere.
Its hard to exaggerate how much we dig this guys music.
