Moodoïd – La Lune

The Parisian psych peddler Pablo Padovani, or Moodoïd, has been frolicking on the fringes of cult-adoration for a year or so now and, ever since he released his Kevin Parker produced Ep, has been on the receiving end of some serious heavy petting from critics and Tame Impala fans alike. ‘La Lune’, the first track to be released off his upcoming album ‘Le Monde Möö’, is a reassertion of that early promise. Padding along on velvet melodies and soaring, honeyed vocals ‘La Lune’ is a night-crawling, soft-psych feast that, among Saxophone flourishes and climaxing melodies, beckons the dawn of a serious talent.
